Dear Media Moguls:Being a smart consumer is important today in a world filled with information. For this project, you will work together in teams to create presentations to help other students question the messages they see, hear or read in the media used in television, music, movies, magazines, computer games, news reports and online.

You will create a multimedia presentation with an embedded iMovie about your topic and present this information to other students to help them learn how to question media messages for information. Presentations should teach students how to deconstruct media messages and learn what techniques advertisers use to influence them. Remember companies make money by selling their products, so the smarter kids are at questioning what they see, the better choices they will make.
